| A lot of us have questions on our minds that we find hard to answer. Questions like “what is the meaning of life?” or “why am I here?” There are so many questions in this world that we would like to know the answer to, but we don’t know where or who to get these answers from. I am here to help you find the answers to a few of these questions.
Very few of us know what our purpose is in life, but how many of us know that discovering this answer is within our grasps? The things we need to know to get there can be shown to you. Today I want to talk about just one of them. “What makes you different?”
What are you good at? What is your talent? What do people associate with you? Tmaq is a good dancer; Trisha can sing quite well; Anthony is funny. Some of you can rap, some of you can MC, some of you can draw, some of you are good at Maths, etc.
We all have something that we are good at that other people are not, but that is not all. We most aim to be the best at that thing that we are good at.
People think that I am good at a lot of things, when the truth is I only do things that I am good at – think about it. Michael Jordan can not swim but who cares – he is the greater Basketball player of all time. David Beckham did not finish his GCSE, but his is one of the best footballers in the world. George W. Bush can’t speak Queens English but he is still the President of the United States of America. Bill Gates never finished university but he is the richest man in the world today.
What you can’t do is not important, it is what is can do that counts. People are remembered for these greatness – what they achieve or what they achieved in. No one will remember what you can’t do if all they see is what you can not do. I didn’t take GCSE English, but that did not stop me from getting straight A’s for A-levels and a first class degree from the 3rd best university in the country.
There is something that you can do that no one else can do. Johnson started POC because no one else would. You could start something that no one else can. You are not a waste of space – you are potential waiting to be released.
Search for what makes you different and you will be on your way to answering the question of why I am here. Search for what makes you different and you will begin to answer the question of what is the reason for your life.
